This disclaimer applies to all content on greaterwaves.com and to GreaterWaves’ courses, materials, software, plugins, sessions, emails, videos and posts (the “Material”). It complements the terms and conditions; in case of conflict, this disclaimer prevails.
Education only, not advice
The Material is educational and informational. It teaches you to build, validate and manage your own trading systems. It is not investment advice or any other investment service within the meaning of Spanish Law 6/2023 of 17 March on Securities Markets and Investment Services and Directive 2014/65/EU (MiFID II):
- We don’t recommend buying, selling or holding any specific financial instrument.
- We don’t assess your personal situation, objectives or risk tolerance.
- We don’t manage portfolios or third-party capital, or receive or execute orders.
The systems, trades, figures and examples in the Material are illustrative. Any trading or investment decision you make is yours alone and at your own risk. If you need advice, contact an authorized firm.
Trading risks
Trading the financial markets is risky and not suitable for everyone:
- You can lose all the capital you invest and, with some products (for example, futures), even more.
- Leverage magnifies gains and also losses.
- Prices can move sharply on news, events or thin liquidity, with gaps that jump your stops.
- No system wins all the time. Every system goes through losing streaks, and one that worked can stop working.
Don’t trade with borrowed money or money you can’t afford to lose. Read your broker’s risk documentation before trading.
Past performance, backtests and DARWINs
- Past performance does not guarantee future results.
- Backtests are hypothetical simulations: they are built after the data is known and don’t capture all real costs, slippage or conditions. Live results are usually worse.
- The figures for José’s DARWINs come from Darwinex, are shown with their drawdown and the date they refer to, and only illustrate his experience as a trader. They are not an invitation to invest in them or a promise of what you will achieve.
- Student testimonials and case studies, if any, are individual experiences and do not represent typical results.
Artificial intelligence tools
The process we teach uses artificial intelligence (for example, Anthropic’s Claude Code) to research, code and test systems. AI can make mistakes: write buggy code, misread an idea or draw inaccurate conclusions. Always review what it produces before using it with real money. You decide at every phase.
The plugin and the GreaterWaves MQL5 Kit are provided as is, as educational tools, with no guarantee that they are error-free or fit for a particular purpose. GreaterWaves is not linked to Anthropic or MetaQuotes; their services and terms are their own.
Funded accounts and the simulator
Prop firms are not regulated entities, and their accounts are usually simulated. Their rules, payouts and continuity depend solely on them. The prop firm simulator and the funding scores are estimates based on a backtest: they don’t guarantee passing a challenge or getting paid.

We mention brokers, platforms and providers (for example, Darwinex, Darwinex Zero or Zomro) in good faith. Some links are affiliate links: if you sign up or buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
Mentioning a provider is not a personalized recommendation. The choice of broker, prop firm or provider is yours, and any contract with them is between you and them. Always check each one’s regulation and conditions.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, GreaterWaves is not liable for any losses, direct or indirect, arising from the use of the Material or from decisions based on it. Nothing in this disclaimer limits your rights under consumer law.
